About the position

The Manager of Community Life is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Community Life department at Vincentian. This role focuses on implementing engaging intergenerational programs and creating spaces for residents, families, and staff. The manager will cultivate partnerships and design creative arts programming, ensuring high-quality services that promote independence and wellness among community members. The position requires a dynamic individual committed to service excellence and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Community Life department.
  • Implement engaging intergenerational programs and spaces for residents and families.
  • Cultivate academic partnerships and community collaborations.
  • Design and execute creative arts programming.
  • Incorporate the eight dimensions of wellness into all experiences.
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment for community connections.
  • Plan and execute memorable programs that encourage socialization and lifelong learning.
  • Ensure resident satisfaction levels are achieved through exceptional service.
  • Develop standards and procedures for effective program/event planning.
  • Create reports identifying Key Performance Indicators for program success.
  • Serve as the primary contact for smart technology platform (K4Connect).
  • Work cross-functionally with other staff to align resources and communicate updates.
  • Create community partnerships to support service line programs.
  • Manage staff, volunteers, and students as assigned.
  • Assist in the development and management of departmental budget.
  • Conduct department orientation, training, and coaching of new employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years applicable experience or associate degree with 2+ progressive experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
  • Exceptional verbal and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using a Content Management Writer is a plus.
  • Dynamic, outgoing, and friendly communicator.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Comfortable with technology and explaining software systems to non-technical audiences.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $43.3K - $54.8K per year.
