As a Manager of Data Management/Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of a data warehouse. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, team management, and hands-on technical expertise to ensure the effective processing and analysis of data across the organization. You will be tasked with developing scalable data governance processes, comprehensive data documentation and catalogues, and robust data pipelines that support analytical and business intelligence processes. Your collaboration with various groups will be essential in fostering data-driven decision-making and contributing to the overall data strategy of the company. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines and workflows tailored to meet diverse business use cases and analytical requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Utilizing best practices and monitoring tools, you will identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies in data processing. Ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and security will be a top priority, as will monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline health and performance issues to minimize downtime and maintain data quality. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data pipelines and workflows, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with organizational standards.
