About the position

The Senior Manager of Database Marketing will oversee the Database Marketing Team at a large telecommunications client in Stamford, CT. This role focuses on managing a team of analysts to produce high-quality lead lists for sales and marketing, while ensuring effective communication with customers. The position requires a blend of management and technical skills, with a strong emphasis on data analysis to identify business opportunities and enhance customer engagement through various marketing tactics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management tasks of the Database Marketing Team.
• Manage a team of 2 analysts to produce high-quality lead lists for sales and marketing.
• Ensure critical service-related communications are sent to customers.
• Analyze waterfall reports and suppression criteria to identify opportunities for customer base expansion.
• Work cross-functionally with other organizations under the Sales department.
• Communicate effectively with managers and directors to align marketing strategies.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in Database Marketing, specifically in telemarketing, SMS, and campaigns.
• 4-5+ years of project management experience in data marketing.
• Expertise in campaign management or automated marketing tools such as Unica, Aprimo, or Epiphany.
• Experience with data mining and leveraging models for segmentation within SQL.
• Strong senior-level presentation and communication skills.

• Experience with Tableau.
