About the position

The Manager of Education Development at AANA is a strategic role focused on the development and management of innovative online education programs within the orthopaedic field. This position involves leveraging expertise in education development and instructional design to identify market needs, enhance educational offerings, and contribute to revenue growth and member engagement. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a commitment to continuous improvement in educational activities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new education activities based on market needs and gaps.
  • Leverage new technology to enhance the delivery of education programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and content accuracy of online activities.
  • Recommend enhancements and design improvements for online offerings.
  • Manage project development and execution, acting as a liaison to Education Committee work groups.
  • Use data-driven decision making to identify education products for refresh or sunset based on KPIs.
  • Ensure educational programs reflect innovative trends in minimally invasive orthopaedic surgery.
  • Review and refine the product development process and production schedule for educational offerings.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support marketing and communication efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in adult education or instructional design preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in managing professional education programs, including curriculum development.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles and ACCME accreditation standards.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and planning educational programs, preferably in an association.
  • Exceptional customer service, writing, and communication skills.
