Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of email marketing campaigns, including building, testing, scheduling, and deploying emails across various customer segments.
• Oversee and optimize automated email workflows for onboarding, retention, win-back, and other lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with data and marketing teams to define and implement audience segmentation strategies based on behavior, demographics, and engagement metrics.
• Design and implement A/B tests for subject lines, content, timing, and targeting strategies to improve email performance metrics.
• Work alongside creative, design, and product teams to ensure email campaigns align with overall business goals and enhance customer experience.
• Monitor email deliverability rates and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data privacy laws.
• Analyze campaign performance metrics and generate comprehensive reports for key stakeholders, providing data-driven recommendations for strategic improvements.
• Oversee email marketing platforms, ensuring proper integration with CRM systems and optimizing tool usage.
• Maintain a comprehensive email marketing calendar to ensure timely and relevant communications.
• Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and new technologies in email marketing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in email marketing operations or lifecycle marketing, preferably within a subscription-based business or high-growth tech environment.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable) and a strong understanding of A/B testing and audience segmentation techniques.
• Proven track record in email performance tracking and optimization, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple email campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong familiarity with email compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices for email list management.
