The Manager of Employee Experience at Woom Bikes is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the employee experience in the U.S. while contributing to global strategies. This position oversees key HR functions, fosters a culture of empowerment and growth, and leads initiatives that cultivate an engaged and development-oriented workforce. The role requires a blend of operational excellence and people-centric initiatives, ensuring that employee experience aligns with Woom's vision and mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the US Regional core functions of Employee Experience (EX) and support Global EX strategy topics.
  • Create and lead initiatives and programs that cultivate an empowered and growth-minded team, including Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, and Office Experience.
  • Oversee the regional budget for employee experience initiatives, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Continuously improve and refine strategic workforce planning to optimize organizational structure.
  • Participate in all current and new project and program management to support the Global EX function.
  • Ensure the HRIS (BambooHR) meets regional needs and compliance standards, facilitating efficient employee data management.
  • Guide the strategy and operations of regional compensation packages and US payroll, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Lead the design and administration of US employee benefits programs tailored to regional needs.
  • Lead the US Regional annual merit increase cycle, ensuring it reflects Woom's compensation philosophy and market trends.
  • Update and enforce regional HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to align business objectives with talent strategies.
  • Lead change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation while keeping the employee experience at heart.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues and investigations, maintaining legal and ethical standards.
  • Support the global EX team with the performance review process to ensure it supports employee growth and organizational goals.
  • Manage a comprehensive talent strategy aligned with Woom's growth plans, vision, mission, and values.
  • Directly recruit and source for positions, crafting authentic job descriptions and socializing open positions throughout an omni-channel environment.
  • Lead employment branding strategies to reflect Woom's values, culture, and celebrate Woomsters through storytelling and recognition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of HR or Employee Experience leadership, preferably in a global organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and workforce planning.
  • Strong skills in change management, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
