About the position

The Manager of Enrollment Services at Northwood Technical College is responsible for overseeing the delivery of enrollment services and developing strategic enrollment initiatives. This leadership role involves managing a team dedicated to providing accessible services in admissions, registration, student records, and graduation, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and promoting excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the delivery of enrollment services.
• Lead a team to provide accessible services to students in admissions, registration, student records, and graduation.
• Ensure staff is trained to deliver excellent customer service.
• Design and launch enrollment strategies to meet full-time equivalency (FTE) growth goals.
• Coordinate scheduling in the student assessment testing center.
• Supervise, train, and certify staff who provide testing.
• Manage campus recruitment processes through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the enrollment services team.
• Communicate admissions and program requirements to campus Student Services staff.
• Collaborate with the college registrar to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations including FERPA.
• Assist in developing and implementing student information systems for managing student records and admissions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, compile, and report data on behalf of the Student Affairs division.
• Actively participate in campus, regional, Collegewide, and state teams and committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Three years of related work experience.
• One year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Strong customer service skills focusing on diversity and continuous quality improvement.
• Problem-solving skills employing critical thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to apply technology effectively.
• Experience leading projects through time management and effective delegation.
• Ability to obtain a driver's license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy.
