The Manager of Enterprise Change Management is a professional and managerial role focused on enhancing operational effectiveness within City departments through technology implementation and improved management practices. This position involves researching and monitoring technology developments, advising department management, and leading initiatives to improve service delivery. The role requires significant initiative, independent judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve positive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Research ways to improve delivery of City services through technology and industry best practices.
• Monitor trends in technology development to identify improvements for service delivery.
• Study City department practices to determine best methods for service delivery and advise management personnel.
• Assist departments in implementing new technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Review manpower requests and participate in developing RFPs and monitoring contractor performance.
• Lead citywide initiatives to introduce new technology and assist departments in adapting to changes.
• Conduct studies of department operations to identify best practices and assist in program effectiveness measurement.
• Prepare reports and correspondence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible administrative and managerial experience.
• Extensive knowledge of municipal administration and organization, modern management practices, and technology development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in coaching and mentoring management personnel.
• Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
