About the position

Join us as a Manager of Instrumentation and Calibration, where you will oversee departmental activities regarding the planning and scheduling of all routine and non-routine events and any related areas of responsibility to maintain a GMP facility. This is your chance to break new ground and leave a collective legacy in our Operations team! As the Business Process Owner for Instrumentation and Calibration activities, you will drive continuous improvement across processes and procedures. You will develop and implement the site's Instrumentation and Calibration strategy to ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your role will also involve managing the performance of the instrumentation and calibration teams, leading troubleshooting efforts, and functioning as an administrator for the CMMS for the site. You will track KPIs for work order completion and manage the acquisition of standards, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental activities regarding planning and scheduling of routine and non-routine events.
  • Serve as the Business Process Owner for Instrumentation and Calibration activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement the site's Instrumentation and Calibration strategy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage the performance of the instrumentation and calibration teams.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts related to instrumentation and calibration.
  • Function as an administrator for the CMMS for the site.
  • Track KPIs for work order completion.
  • Manage the acquisition of standards, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum 7 years of industrial maintenance experience in a GMP facility.
  • Minimum 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of specialized functions and a comprehensive acquaintance with instrumentation and calibration principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of cGMP standards, particularly in manufacturing, laboratory, and requirements for computer systems (GAMP) and data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Lean process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with digital technology implementation.
