About the position

The Manager of M&A Accounting at Honeywell will lead the Controllership team in providing expertise on acquisition and divestiture executions, integration, and related business development projects. This role requires strong leadership and technical accounting skills to support dynamic transaction timelines and ensure effective integration and separation processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate and segment Business Development teams on technical accounting matters related to M&A projects.
• Research accounting guidance and draft memos for transactions, reviewing conclusions with the Corporate Sr. Director of Technical Accounting and external auditors.
• Manage and update a dashboard of Controllership workflows on acquisition and divestiture projects.
• Maintain standard due diligence and integration task lists for Finance and Controllership.
• Provide project management guidance to business CFOs and Corporate Business Development execution leaders.
• Lead internal control assessments during due diligence and track progress on integration timelines.
• Execute Divestiture projects, including financial statement audits and transaction close accounting.
• Provide accounting advice on acquisition and divestiture models.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public audit, transaction advisory, or corporate accounting.
• 2+ years of experience with a 'Big 4' public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and a professional track record of exceptional performance.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting; CPA desirable.
• Project management skills and ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines.
• Deep technical accounting knowledge and expertise with US GAAP.
