About the position

The Telemarketing Department Manager is responsible for overseeing the telemarketing team, ensuring effective lead generation, and managing the process of converting leads into sales. This role involves strategizing telemarketing campaigns, training and supervising team members, monitoring performance, and driving the success of sales conversion rates. The manager ensures that leads are effectively handled from initial contact to closure, optimizing the sales funnel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the collection, categorization, and prioritization of leads generated through telemarketing campaigns.
  • Develop strategies and processes to ensure high conversion rates from leads to sales.
  • Train, manage, and support the telemarketing team, ensuring they meet individual and team targets.
  • Plan, implement, and optimize telemarketing campaigns to generate new leads.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess lead conversion rates and the overall success of telemarketing efforts.
  • Provide regular updates to upper management on the status of leads, conversion rates, and sales results.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless transition of leads to the sales pipeline, as well as with marketing to align on lead generation strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in telemarketing, sales management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop effective sales conversion strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM and telemarketing software.
