The Marketing & Business Development Operations Manager at A&O Shearman is a pivotal role designed to support and execute the marketing vision and priorities of the U.S. Marketing & Business Development team. The role involves significant collaboration with various leaders and teams across the organization, ensuring the effective implementation of marketing strategies and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive the strategy and operations for the U.S. Marketing & Business Development team.
  • Drive implementation of cross-departmental marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Assist team members in interpreting and executing the CMBDO's vision regarding ongoing marketing initiatives.
  • Provide analyses, recommendations, and reports to leadership.
  • Direct leadership and operational communications to key audiences and stakeholders.
  • Assist leadership with administrative tasks such as budget planning and preparation documents.
  • Develop agendas for meetings to promote collaboration within the marketing team.
  • Coordinate and execute special projects for the CMBDO.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of legal or professional services experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong client focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and interact with all levels within the firm, including top leadership.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and drive multiple projects forward.
  • Experience in operations-led transformation via processes and best practices.
  • Ability to coordinate across many constituents.
  • Expert in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Benefits

  • Estimated annualized base salary range of $140,000 - $173,000 based on qualifications.
