About the position

CBS Miami has an outstanding opportunity for a Multi-Platform Marketing Manager, which is considered the right-hand person to the Director of Creative Services. The Multi-Platform Marketing Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and driving visions for key marketing projects and multi-platform concepts. This dynamic individual will seek opportunities, generate ideas, and have a passion for branding. The Multi-Platform Marketing Manager will develop a deep understanding of the station brand and work closely with the Director of Creative Services to identify and implement new creative opportunities that set a higher standard, grow our audience, and achieve results. In this role, the Multi-Platform Marketing Manager will lead the creative process for campaigns and projects, including concepting, production, and post-production, while guiding others in the process. The position requires producing, writing, and editing high-quality creative for brand multi-platform marketing projects. Additionally, the manager will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Creative Services Department, which includes participating in Content and Creative Strategy Meetings. Collaboration with the Executive Producer of Impacting Communities (EPIC) is also essential to connect station initiatives with community events. Other projects may be assigned as needed, requiring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative process for campaigns and projects including concepting, production, and post-production with the willingness and ability to guide others.
  • Produce/write/edit high-quality creative for brand multi-platform marketing projects.
  • Lead all aspects of day-to-day operations of the Creative Services Department, including attending/chipping in to Content and Creative Strategy Meetings.
  • Work with the Executive Producer of Impacting Communities (EPIC) to help connect station initiatives with community events.
  • Other Projects as Assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in broadcast television or at a corporate marketing/creative agency.
  • Knowledge of how to develop brand identities through multi-platform marketing.
  • Excellent tease-writing skills and the ability to produce effective spots with extraordinary copy and sound use.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects).
  • Proficiency in iNews and Wide Orbit a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment to manage deadlines.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule when needed for station priorities, including but not limited to News/Weather Events, Community partnerships, and public service initiatives.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
