About the position

The Manager of Record Keeping Operations (RKO) at Prudential is a leadership role responsible for overseeing a multi-functional team that provides Core/Voluntary and GUL/GVUL services. This position focuses on executing strategies that enhance customer and employee experiences while driving operational improvements and managing vendor partnerships. The role requires a strong leader who can motivate teams, manage change, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, motivation, and technical expertise to the team.
  • Drive employee engagement and talent development.
  • Identify and implement changes to enhance customer and employee experiences.
  • Attend customer meetings to support the team as needed.
  • Oversee tracking and resolution of client service inquiries and implement proactive solutions.
  • Support key vendor partners handling back-office operations.
  • Develop short and long-term customer service objectives and monitor procedures.
  • Recommend operational improvements based on metrics and quality trends.
  • Manage hiring, performance management, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Monitor metrics and quality trends related to incoming work requests.

Requirements

  • Attain SEI, Series 6, and Series 26 certifications within 6-8 months from start date.
  • 5 years of leadership experience with a service operation team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience leveraging data to drive business decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Proven results orientation and excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix/non-hierarchical environment with an agile mentality.
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current licenses: SEI, Series 6, and Series 26
  • Minimum 10 years of Insurance or Financial Services experience.
