About the position

The Manager of Social Media and Editorial Content at Stealth Books Co will be responsible for curating and producing engaging book-related content across various social media platforms, managing the brand's online presence, and fostering community engagement. This role involves developing and executing a unique content strategy to connect people through books, leveraging hybrid human-AI technology to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research and curate content from social media, podcasts, and other sources to produce daily highlights of short-form book content in the app.
  • Own and operate social media platforms, including scheduling content, community management, and optimizing posts for engagement.
  • Commission original content and manage editorial workflow.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Marketing to ensure user and customer touchpoints are consistent with brand narrative and tone.
  • Report on social media performance weekly and monthly to identify insights and establish KPIs.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience managing high-growth social media accounts, ideally in the culture or publishing space.
  • Experience with social media campaign management and editorial project management, including daily production workflows.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and resourcefully.
  • Proficiency with email service providers and social/content management tools such as Tweetdeck, Sprout, Hootsuite, Canva.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with publishing or book sales.
  • Conversational or fluent Spanish.
