As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Manager of Software Engineering - Patient Financing to join our IT Team. In this managerial role, you will lead a team focused on modernizing legacy systems by developing new software and services utilizing cloud-native GCP technologies. Our technology stack includes Microsoft .NET (7) and some Python, with advanced SQL and NoSQL data layers operating on Kubernetes in an active-active multi-region setup. This position involves planning, estimation, and tracking of features, and you will play a crucial role in defining our software development life cycle as we modernize our technologies and approaches. We expect candidates to possess strong hands-on technical skills and lead by example, fostering the growth of your team's talent and capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage one or more teams specializing in building out features and solutions.
  • Partner with teams on designing and implementing our modern cloud architecture.
  • Collaborate with the product organization and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver software solutions that align with the strategic direction of the business.
  • Bring A/B testing and modern data analytics processes into our teams.
  • Own and leverage Quality Ops to build test Automation into your team's pipelines.
  • Contribute new ideas to improve software practices and processes for our platform.
  • Contribute and help manage the development and software rollout process as we achieve our DevOps goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher with 6+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience with modern DevOps and owning deploying code to production as needed.
  • Experience building micro-services with modern .NET (preferred) or Java/Python development.
  • Proficient in micro-services design and RESTful APIs, graphQL, and optionally gRPC.
  • Experienced with SQL and NoSQL data solutions, ideally with multi-region systems.
  • Experience with dealing with the security and compliance side of software development.
  • Experienced with owning quality and best practices in automation and testing.
  • Experienced with building out and maintaining metrics, alarms, and monitoring services.
  • Data engineering, data analysis, data pipeline, and metrics creation skills are highly desirable.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 + 10% performance bonus
