About the position

The position at L.L.Bean is focused on enhancing the overall store experience and channel marketing through strategic initiatives, in-store events, and effective marketing strategies. The role serves as a liaison between the store division and marketing, aiming to drive customer engagement, increase traffic, and support retail growth. This home office-based role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in retail marketing and event management, responsible for planning and executing store openings and events while fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee the execution of in-store events to attract and engage customers.
  • Coordinate with district and store managers to promote events and integrate them into store operations.
  • Measure and analyze the success of events and recommend improvements.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new store openings and grand re-openings.
  • Develop marketing strategies to build excitement around new and remodeled stores.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful store launches.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to drive retail traffic and boost sales.
  • Create and manage promotional activities, special offers, and loyalty programs.
  • Assist in market research and analysis to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze retail traffic patterns and customer behaviors.
  • Provide regular reports on traffic trends and marketing effectiveness.
  • Assist in the creation and launch of immersive selling initiatives to enhance customer experience.
  • Develop product knowledge programs in partnership with Home Office and Field Leaders.
  • Manage the budget for store experience, marketing, openings, and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail marketing events or store experience.
  • Experience in a retail company or setting.
  • Experience in recruiting and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
  • Demonstrated capacity for collaborative work in a retail environment.
