About the position

The Manager of Technical Product Management for the Sales Platform Team at NextEra Energy is responsible for overseeing multiple agile teams to enhance the flagship sales workflow product. This role involves balancing the delivery of value to sales and installation partners while preparing for a direct-to-consumer approach. The position requires strategic vision, cross-functional leadership, and a commitment to innovation in product management, all aimed at supporting the company's goal of achieving Real Zero carbon emissions by 2045.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a compelling long-term vision for Everbright's tech stack that aligns with the company's strategic goals.
• Oversee creation of the product roadmaps across teams, ensuring value delivery to partners and advancement toward the D2C vision.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing, to ensure cohesive product development.
• Champion innovation by implementing modern product discovery and delivery methods.
• Collaborate with other Product Management team members to ensure alignment of goals and optimize resource allocation.
• Oversee multiple agile teams, providing guidance and leadership for efficient product development.
• Write clear and concise product briefs, epics, stories, and tasks for development and QA teams.
• Own and oversee research and product discovery across internal and external parties.
• Oversee vendor and third-party integrations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the competitor landscape, market trends, and customer/partner needs.
• Define product vision and execute product strategy.
• Support and influence discussions at the executive level.
• Manage and mentor a subset of the product team.
• Recognize individuals for talent and performance, promoting shared success.
• Manage team growth and conduct hiring processes.
• Execute core people management duties, including performance feedback and reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 8+ years in Product Management.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business such as engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and stakeholders in a collaborative manner.
• Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Passion for clean energy and sustainability.
