About the position

As the Manager of Technology Controls at Sparks Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of risk management and control processes within the organization. This position is critical in assessing and managing risks associated with technology operations, particularly within the Infrastructure and Software Development teams. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing information related to control execution, which is essential for supporting the management of Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), audits, and regulatory examinations. Your expertise will guide the organization in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations, thereby safeguarding the organization’s technological assets and data integrity. In this role, you will manage and assess in-business risks and controls, ensuring that all technology operations adhere to established risk management frameworks. You will perform RCSA testing and facilitate audit readiness by compiling comprehensive risk and control information. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement, collaborating with various teams to implement enhancements to technology risk management practices. Additionally, you will conduct independent process reviews, tracking and reporting on risk mitigation efforts to ensure that the organization continuously improves its risk management strategies. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management, with a focus on fostering a culture of compliance and accountability within the technology teams. You will be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing insights and recommendations based on your assessments and findings. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the organization’s commitment to maintaining a robust technology control environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or an information technology-related field
  • 5+ years' experience in technology in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience in analyzing or managing technical processes such as network, server, or mainframe systems administration
