About the position

The Manager of Territory Sales at Option Care Health is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of sales, marketing, and business development activities within a designated territory. This role involves managing a team of Account Executives and Care Transition Specialists to achieve revenue and gross margin objectives while identifying growth opportunities in local practices, hospitals, and health systems. The position requires strong leadership skills to drive sales, develop strategic market plans, and ensure high-quality service delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and execution of sales, marketing, and business development activities for the assigned team.
  • Identify growth opportunities within local practices, hospitals, and health systems.
  • Direct the activities of Account Executives, Care Transition Specialists, and Care Transition Coordinators to execute strategic account plans.
  • Drive sales by partnering with operations to build market growth plans.
  • Engage in account management and business development efforts with the team.
  • Monitor competitors, industry, and sales trends to develop sales plans accordingly.
  • Provide productivity analysis and feedback to the sales team on performance overall and with key customers.
  • Develop business plans to achieve goals of targeted opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a clinical field, or high school diploma with 5 years of related sales experience.
  • 1-2 years of previous business-to-business healthcare/medical related sales leadership experience.
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting sales data to identify issues and trends.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA in Business Administration with at least 4 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
  • Prior experience selling strategic solutions to hospitals and health systems.
  • Infusion/health care service experience in therapeutic areas such as oncology or immunology.
  • Basic understanding of billing and reimbursement procedures.
