About the position

The Manager of Web Administration & Digital Marketing at Destination Cleveland is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of marketing technology, including website management, analytics, and marketing automation. This role involves monitoring website health, facilitating metrics reporting, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance user experience. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and marketing acumen to drive effective digital strategies that promote Cleveland as a premier destination.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update website content and content management strategies.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance testing across marketing platforms.
  • Optimize and maintain the website for performance and user experience.
  • Address website and event support tickets through the internal helpdesk.
  • Ensure accuracy of website data and maintain website pixels and tags.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate emerging marketing technologies.
  • Provide thought leadership for technology adoption within the Digital Marketing department.
  • Act as a technical resource for the Digital Marketing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of marketing experience or 8+ years of equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience with website optimization and maintenance.
  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4 preferred), Tag Manager, Webmaster Tools, and Search Console.
  • Proven experience with website content management systems, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Experience in data analysis and creating reports to inform decisions.
  • Proven SEO/SEM experience and experience with tagging and pixeling.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
