The Manager of Web, Marketing, and Social Media at the University at Albany will play a crucial role in promoting the university's graduate programs and events through various digital channels. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively communicate the value of the Graduate School to prospective students and the broader community. The manager will oversee the creation of engaging content for the university's website, social media platforms, and print materials, ensuring that all communications align with the university's branding and messaging standards. In this role, the manager will plan, execute, and assess the Graduate School's web and social media communications, including brochures and email campaigns. They will produce and schedule professional content and graphics tailored to specific audiences, design and execute paid digital and social media advertisements, and provide support to academic departments in achieving their recruitment goals. The manager will also maintain a positive online presence for the Graduate School, responding to messages and posts in a timely and professional manner. Utilizing the SLATE Technolutions CRM application, the manager will develop, manage, and improve marketing campaigns while analyzing their effectiveness through data collection. This position requires attendance at on-campus and regional events to promote the Graduate School and maintain an accurate marketing budget. The manager will also be responsible for creating and editing content for various marketing materials, including social media, blogs, and newsletters, and capturing visual content for promotional use.
