About the position

The Manager of Women's Services is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care within the Labor & Delivery unit. This role involves overseeing daily operations, staffing, and the provision of nursing care, while holding staff accountable for clinical outcomes and adherence to established policies. The Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing patient safety, improving efficiency, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency in care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to standards of care and reduce variation in clinical practice.
• Provide leadership to attain and sustain an unparalleled patient experience.
• Instill accountability for consistent, positive patient interactions.
• Review feedback mechanisms to identify opportunities for improving customer/patient satisfaction.
• Support the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience.
• Inspire commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values.
• Identify development opportunities or training needs for employees and teams.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.
• Represent the organization positively within the community and participate in community events.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of leadership experience within the Labor & Delivery unit as a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager.
• 3-5+ years of acute hospital nursing experience, specifically within Labor & Delivery.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have an Associate's Degree in nursing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification within 60 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
