About the position

The Manager, Office of the Chief Digital Information Officer at Ingredion will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sr. Director of the Office of the Chief Digital Information Officer (OCDIO) by developing governance, processes, and policies that facilitate efficient and effective digital operations. This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication abilities to contribute to strategic projects within the OCDIO. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program, which involves establishing governance, agenda, objectives, and outcomes that align with the company's business goals and values. This includes a deep understanding of contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs) for the top 15 suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and managing relationships to ensure quality service delivery. In addition to supplier management, the Manager will support project teams in implementing digital technology enhancements and optimization projects. This role will require collaboration with the DTS team and Global Procurement on requests for proposals (RFPs), new contracts, and contract lifecycle metrics to maximize financial and operational performance while minimizing risk. The position also involves understanding capital and operating budgets, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and accrual processes, partnering with the Finance Manager on corporate service fee allocation processes, and preparing accurate documentation for systems and project activities. The Manager will contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in current systems and processes, participating in discussions for enhancing digital technology operations, and continuously learning about new technologies and best practices. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as the Manager will assist in gathering requirements, providing updates, and ensuring clear communication across projects. Additionally, the role supports compliance and security efforts to ensure that digital systems and data handling practices adhere to relevant regulations and security standards, which may involve assisting with audits and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Supplier Relationship Committee and partner with Global Procurement to establish the DTS SRM program governance, agenda, objectives, and outcomes.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet or exceed contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and compliance of DTS suppliers against contractual obligations and key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate regular reviews and feedback sessions with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Drive cost savings, value creation, quality, and innovation opportunities with suppliers through benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Support project teams in the implementation of digital technology enhancements and optimization projects.
  • Liaise with DTS team and Global Procurement on RFPs, new contracts/renewals, and contract lifecycle metrics.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and project activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in current systems and processes.
  • Assist in communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including gathering requirements and providing updates.
  • Support efforts to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and security standards.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT supplier/contract management and administration and IT budgets.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing governance, processes, and policies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong knowledge of IT contracts terms and conditions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in IT contract management, procurement, or project management is a plus.
