About the position

The Manager on Duty at Worldwide Flight Services is responsible for overseeing and directing supervisory personnel within their assigned functional area. This role ensures customer satisfaction, safety, security, and quality standards are met while managing staffing requirements and administering discipline as necessary. The Manager on Duty acts as a liaison between first-level supervisors and upper management, ensuring compliance with corporate security programs and TSA legislation.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisory personnel within assigned functional area.
• Oversee and advise on staffing requirements.
• Monitor and administer discipline and corrective action for subordinates.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback.
• Act as a liaison between first-level supervisors and upper management.
• Proactively monitor the work of assigned employees to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with corporate security programs and TSA legislation.
• Ensure compliance with company audit requirements.
• Clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan.
• Ensure all staff display their company ID badges.

Requirements

• Two to five years of previous management or supervisory experience in field service duties.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Airline pricing experience.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off.
