The Private Equity Performance Improvement Manager at Alvarez & Marsal focuses on enhancing operational performance within the retail sector. Responsibilities

• Identify high impact opportunities for EBITDA and cash flow improvements across retail organizations.
• Implement performance improvement programs to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Redefine roles and responsibilities within client organizations to support performance goals.
• Establish supportive processes and execute workforce reductions as necessary.
• Synthesize insights from diverse data sources to inform strategic recommendations.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis in the consumer or retail sector.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in the consumer retail industry, preferably in merchandising, supply/demand planning, or sourcing.
• Demonstrated success and in-depth knowledge in performance improvement within the consumer or retail sectors.
• Experience in consulting and/or industry roles related to consumer retail.
• Ability to analyze quantitative data and provide insightful analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with private equity firms or relationships, either personally or professionally.
