About the position

The Manager of Operations - Logistics is responsible for overseeing the Logistics department at PromoWorks, ensuring efficient delivery, distribution, and collection of materials for in-store engagements. This role involves managing Operations Coordinators, interacting with vendors, and ensuring client service satisfaction while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor fulfillments KPIs to ensure compliance with PromoWorks objectives
  • Manage expenses to meet expected margins
  • Ensure client service satisfaction within the department
  • Review performance and effectiveness of Logistics Coordinators and recommend changes
  • Review Training Program of Logistics Managers and operations personnel
  • Review kit orders for discrepancies
  • Establish controls for pricing calculations
  • Maintain rate cards for Logistics
  • Conduct Blue Vue reviews of direct reports and mentor them
  • Oversee day-to-day tasks of Logistics Managers
  • Meet weekly with fulfillment centers to address high-level issues
  • Monitor purchases for general inventory items
  • Approve invoicing for logistics vendors and resolve issues
  • Research and solve logistics-related issues
  • Review and monitor equitable division of programs and workloads
  • Quote custom POS and fulfillment for specialty programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • 1-2 years related experience or training
  • Minimum two years' experience in logistics or operations
  • Ability to understand business implications of decisions
  • Exhibit confidence and inspire others
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
