About the position

The Manager, Operations (Network Team) is responsible for directing tactical plans and overseeing the execution of apheresis and collection center network development. This remote position focuses on providing apheresis center networks for cellular therapy customers, ensuring effective vendor management, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute business plan and strategy for apheresis center network development.
• Lead vendor apheresis collection accounts from site selection to ongoing management.
• Develop and execute strategies to track and improve vendor performance in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Lead teams to meet critical accountabilities, milestones, and deliverables, resolving barriers to success.
• Work with Finance to establish fair reimbursement rates for apheresis and collection center activities.
• Monitor business and operational metrics, making necessary adjustments.
• Direct processes in accordance with NMDP standards and applicable regulations.
• Stay informed about scientific developments and technologies in the cellular therapy field.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, biotechnology, or supply chain management preferred.
• Five years of progressively responsible management experience in healthcare, biotechnology, operations, business, or an NMDP position.
• Knowledge of healthcare and cell collection expertise.
• Experience in supply chain management, vendor relations, and operations in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated remote management capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
• Understanding of financial management for responsible fiscal decisions.
