About the position

The Manager, Operations role at Prime Therapeutics is responsible for overseeing the Benefits Plan Administration team across various lines of business. This position focuses on ensuring that benefit plans are programmed correctly, performance guarantees are met, and operational goals are achieved. The manager will also create project plans, provide training, and interface with customers to resolve complaints, all while maintaining a positive work environment and supporting team development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Benefits Plan Administration team across multiple lines of business.
• Ensure benefit plans are programmed appropriately and consistently.
• Create project plans and perform analysis to meet project deadlines.
• Interface directly with customers, members, and providers to resolve complaints.
• Manage employee performance through defined scorecards and metrics.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
• Identify training needs and develop training plans for the team.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions for operational issues.
• Coordinate responses to external and internal audits to ensure compliance.
• Participate in initiatives that support process improvements and system integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5 years' PBM Benefit Analyst experience.
• 3+ years' supervisory experience in a PBM technical environment required.
• Ability to analyze benefit plans and programming rules.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train employees on products, procedures, and systems.
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and flexibility.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and act as a change agent.
