As a Manager of Operations Reporting at Johns Hopkins Health Plans, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency through data-driven insights. You will be responsible for defining, developing, and preparing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and analyses that support and drive operational decisions. Your expertise will be crucial in providing specialized analytics and insights that assist in developing recommendations for process improvements, identifying trends, and conducting root cause analyses. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to operationalize process improvements and address negative trends in operational data. You will also identify gaps in reporting and data integrity issues within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), acting as a liaison with IT to resolve these issues. Working closely with management, you will define and track key performance indicators across all lines of business, ensuring that the organization meets its operational goals. Additionally, you will support ad-hoc reporting and claims analysis for operational business units, identify areas for process improvement, and track the impact of changes. A significant aspect of your role will involve coordinating the training and growth of new analysts, facilitating their development within the company. You will also perform regular ad-hoc provider and claim audits to ensure accurate configuration and setup, thereby maintaining the integrity of operational processes. This hybrid position requires you to work one day per week in the Hanover, MD office, allowing for a balance between remote work and in-person collaboration.
