About the position

The Manager of Operations - Sales Strategy & Operations at Walmart is responsible for shaping and defining the future of the Local Marketplace experience. This role focuses on driving sales operations, establishing foundational processes, and supporting strategic workstreams to enhance seller acquisition and operational efficiency. The manager will leverage analytical skills to refine sales strategies and processes, ensuring the sales team is equipped for long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive an analytics framework to enhance sales strategy and processes.
• Implement and optimize a strategic framework for seller acquisition and retention.
• Build and implement tools and processes to support the sales process and improve efficiency.
• Support key strategic workstreams for seller prioritization across categories.
• Drive core operational processes like sales tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in operations, project management, or related area, or 4 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Looker.
• Experience in sales operations, business operations, consulting, or strategy roles.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• PMP certification.
