As an Operations Manager - Seller Growth & Marketing at Walmart, you will play a pivotal role in empowering local businesses and facilitating their growth within the Walmart Local Marketplace. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, startup-like environment while benefiting from the scale and resources of the world's largest retailer. Your primary responsibility will be to shape programs and key messaging across new categories and markets, ensuring that local products are effectively discovered and enjoyed by millions of customers worldwide. In this role, you will generate strategic insights in collaboration with Product, Customer Marketing, and Analytics teams to inform the roadmap for seller growth initiatives. You will leverage seller behavioral insights, feedback, and competitive analysis to develop and execute B2B marketing strategies that resonate with our sellers. Additionally, you will work closely with tech teams to prioritize seller needs and directly market to them, supporting various Go-To-Market initiatives. This highly cross-functional role requires strong partnerships with multiple teams, including Product, Sales, Consumer, Customer Marketing, Legal, and PR. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate will be an analytical marketer with a robust understanding of marketing methods, capable of aligning strategies with seller objectives while continuously adapting based on seller feedback. You will make a significant impact by developing and executing seller-facing growth programs and marketing tactics aimed at driving awareness and adoption of Walmart's Local Marketplace features. Utilizing various channels such as email, webinars, social media, and infographics, you will effectively communicate with target audiences. Additionally, you will lead the voice of the seller program, gathering feedback to drive continuous product improvement and managing multiple projects and campaigns with competing timelines.
