About the position
The Operations Manager at Rentokil North America is responsible for leading and developing a team of specialists to achieve sales and revenue goals while ensuring exceptional service to clients. This role involves managing daily operations, monitoring financial performance, and collaborating with the sales team to enhance client loyalty and retention.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of specialists to provide superior customer service.
- Offer direction to staff in all aspects of operations, service, and client care.
- Responsible for managing basic financial performance, including revenue growth and expense control.
- Conduct daily travel throughout the territory to visit clients and assist specialists.
- Partner closely with the sales team on business development.
- Submit weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).
- 3-5 years in a management role with an emphasis on customer service.
- Success in training, mentoring, and coaching service professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a route-oriented, service environment is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations.
- Must pass pre-employment background screen.
- Valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search.
