About the position

The Manager, Organizational Change Management / Business Readiness is responsible for leading the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure successful adoption and implementation of business technology initiatives. This role focuses on managing the people side of change, preparing leaders and stakeholders to effectively navigate transitions, and ensuring that changes yield the intended results and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of change management strategies and plans for technology initiatives.
  • Oversee the Organizational Change Management (OCM) process to guide the business through change.
  • Align leaders to strategic objectives and define their roles in technology delivery.
  • Promote stakeholder engagement and buy-in throughout the technology delivery process.
  • Facilitate the design and deployment of role-based learning programs for end users.
  • Define readiness and adoption criteria and assess organizational readiness throughout technology delivery.
  • Provide thought leadership and resource management for OCM across Power Delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement tools and KPIs to gauge the effectiveness of change programs.
  • Set team goals and provide coaching and feedback to direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Engineering, Human Resources, or a business-related field required.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management position with direct reports.
  • Proven ability to navigate in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Experience in developing and leading change management strategies for transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Change Management certification is a plus.
  • Experience in the utility or energy sector is a plus.
