About the position

The position involves leading change management projects that encompass changes to business processes, technologies, and organizational structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying project risks, defining and communicating project impacts, designing and coordinating training, and measuring change receptiveness and adoption. This role requires a strong background in training and instructional design, with a focus on developing comprehensive training programs that align with the company's objectives. The individual will manage a team of professionals dedicated to supporting change management activities, ensuring that projects and change initiatives meet their time, budget, and business success objectives. In this role, the candidate will conduct change impact assessments to identify project scope changes, end-user impacts, and desired outcomes. They will also be responsible for managing and developing detailed plans for communications, training, user preparations, application readiness, and ongoing project support. Building measurement systems to track the adoption, usage, and proficiency of change management initiatives is a key responsibility. The candidate will coordinate training deployment for new and existing business stakeholders and support end users through change network meetings and post-implementation communications. Additionally, the candidate will train, coach, and consult leaders and project teams on change management principles, serving as a change management resource to executives, senior leaders, and managers on special projects and initiatives. The work environment is primarily indoors, comfortable, and conducive to productivity, with infrequent unpleasant conditions. The role typically requires less than 10% overnight travel, and the candidate will be expected to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously while delivering results within defined timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional training and instructional design experience.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Certification in instructional design or training (e.g., CID, CIT, CPLP, CCT, CTDP).
  • Experience with project management phases, tools, and approaches (e.g., PMO, waterfall, AGILE).
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning and instructional design methods and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree such as a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in a related field with a focus on change management.
