About the position

The Manager of Organizational Change Management leads change management projects that involve modifications to business processes, technologies, and organizational structures. This role is responsible for identifying project risks, defining and communicating project impacts, designing and coordinating training, and measuring change receptiveness and adoption. The manager oversees a team of professionals to ensure that change initiatives meet their objectives in terms of time, budget, and business success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of professionals supporting change management activities.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify project scope changes and end user impacts.
  • Develop detailed plans for communications, training, user preparations, and ongoing project support.
  • Build measurement systems to track adoption, usage, and proficiency of change management initiatives.
  • Coordinate training deployment for new and existing business stakeholders.
  • Support end users through change work meetings and post-implementation communications.
  • Train, coach, and consult leaders and project teams on change management principles.
  • Serve as a change management resource to executives, senior leaders, and managers on special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional organizational change management experience leading strategy, planning, and execution at the program level.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Certification from a formal change management methodology (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP).
  • Experience with project management phases, tools, and approaches (e.g., PMO, waterfall approach, AGILE methodology).
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management methods and tools, processes, and standards.
  • Experience defining and executing adoption measurement strategy.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills and strong organization and project management skills.
  • Experience working with senior leaders on major change initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree such as a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
