About the position

The Manager of Organizational Development at Kubota Tractor Corp is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing talent development activities within the organization. This role focuses on managing personnel activities related to training, workforce planning, and career development to ensure a qualified and well-managed workforce. The position involves collaboration with senior management and leadership to enhance company culture and support employee growth through various development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage personnel planning programs for recruitment, selection, training, and development of employees.
  • Counsel senior management on personnel issues related to policy, management/employee development, and performance evaluation.
  • Direct the implementation of Kubota's cultural initiatives and manage company survey data.
  • Partner with leadership on unified communication for talent management and programs.
  • Continuously improve the talent development strategy and initiatives.
  • Build data and dashboards for effective reporting on talent management and organizational development.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with outside vendors for service delivery.
  • Develop and enhance Kubota's workforce planning and career pathing model.
  • Manage department talent and organizational operational budget.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets for assigned functions.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree/MBA in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a similar field required.
  • At least 7 years of management experience in human resources in a related industry required.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading leaders in a Human Resources department preferred.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of all Human Resources functions and processes.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in presenting ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Ability to coach and counsel employees on personal and professional development.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to propose innovative solutions.
