About the position

The Manager of Organizational Effectiveness at PSEG is responsible for enhancing fleet and departmental performance by identifying and resolving gaps to excellence using industry-proven tools. Reporting to the Director of Organizational Effectiveness, this role involves corporate governance, oversight, and the implementation of strategies to improve organizational effectiveness across the nuclear fleet. The position requires collaboration with senior leaders and participation in fleet assessments to ensure continuous improvement and effective leadership practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director, Organizational Effectiveness in corporate governance and oversight.
  • Lead the fleet INPO 19-003 assessment and other assigned fleet assessments.
  • Monitor site and fleet performance to identify and address performance gaps.
  • Engage with senior leaders to assess leadership and team effectiveness.
  • Lead the OR working meeting to advance nuclear fleet performance.
  • Develop monthly performance reports and quarterly scorecards for each station.
  • Participate in fleet and industry activities to apply best practices in organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering subject, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 10 years of nuclear experience in multiple functional areas, including 5 years in a supervisory or management position and at least 3 years at a manager level.
  • Demonstrated successful leadership skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with station leaders and superintendents.
  • Broad understanding of INPO Performance Objectives and Criteria across multiple functional areas.
  • Knowledge of INPO 15-005 and INPO 19-003 guidelines.
  • Good conflict management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access.

Nice-to-haves

  • NPO experience is desired.
  • SRO license or certification is preferred.
