About the position

This position leads a geographically assigned team of Residential Connectivity Sales Supervisors and their teams, managing daily operations to sell best-in-class services to residential customers. The role focuses on enhancing the customer experience, meeting sales goals, and developing team members' skills. The leader is expected to create excitement and energy within the team while ensuring accountability and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Residential Connectivity Sales Supervisors and their teams.
  • Meet and exceed budgeted headcount and sales goals.
  • Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Monitor staff functions including selection, training, development, performance evaluation, and discipline.
  • Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance.
  • Identify knowledge and training gaps and develop plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Communicate territory assignments to Residential Connectivity Sales Supervisors.
  • Monitor payroll processes and ensure timely approval of commission payments.
  • Prepare reports as needed and complete administrative tasks related to sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Outside Sales or related work experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong technical and computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Direct Sales practices.
  • Experience with consumer education of products and services.
  • Knowledge of cable or telecommunications service.
  • Sales Supervisory experience preferred.
