About the position

The Manager - Outsourced Accounting & Finance at EisnerAmper is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting functions for various client businesses. This role involves managing a team of accountants, establishing strong client relationships, and providing strategic financial advice. The position requires a blend of technical accounting skills and client service orientation, with a focus on enhancing financial performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions for client businesses
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with clients and client representatives
• Provides clients with advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation
• Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
• Ensures effective internal controls are in place and compliance with GAAP and applicable laws
• Works on proposals and assists in developing new business
• Supervises engagements and special projects undertaken by the firm
• Oversees all aspects of the client engagement, including workpaper review and financial reporting
• Supervises, trains, and evaluates advanced level staff
• Expands services to existing clients
• Coaches, mentors, and assists staff in their development
• Assists with technical accounting research and workpaper documentation
• Performs Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis and provides strategic insights as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of recent public and/or private accounting experience
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
