About the position

The Paid Media Manager will play a crucial role in the Central Digital Marketing Team, focusing on the Writing segment of Newell's portfolio. This position is responsible for providing strategic guidance on paid media initiatives, driving national campaigns across various platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business growth and profitability through innovative advertising strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive media campaigns in partnership with the media agency to meet marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as integrated marketing, data analytics, and martech to execute and optimize national campaigns across various funnels.
  • Manage paid media budgets and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct ongoing data analysis to scale and optimize campaigns for improved ROI and profitability.
  • Present results and insights to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in Paid Media, including platform changes and new features.
  • Build and manage a team to support paid and owned social execution.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the central digital marketing team to ensure effective activation strategies.
  • Evolve organizational processes, reporting templates, data analysis, and media planning.

Requirements

  • BS/BA or University degree in a related field.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables, and/or Retail is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, Ecommerce, and/or agency work.
  • Experience with paid social media and SEM.
  • Data and operationally focused with strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to operate independently and propose ideas and solutions to issues.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonally savvy with the ability to connect with employees across multiple functions and levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously.
