About the position

The Manager, Paid Social is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of paid social media campaigns, ensuring optimal performance through data-driven insights and financial management. This role involves collaborating with media and client service teams to enhance client relationships and deliver impactful results. The manager will oversee campaign development, execution, and optimization while mentoring junior team members and driving innovative strategies to meet client goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and optimization recommendations on respective accounts.
  • Extract and deliver data-driven insights for client reports throughout the campaign.
  • Identify optimization opportunities for real-time and long-term implementation.
  • Ensure all campaign builds are quality assured prior to launching.
  • Maintain important documents like pacing sheets and strategy decks up to date and correct.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns across various social media platforms including Meta, X, Pinterest, TikTok, Snap, and LinkedIn.
  • Create audience recommendations and optimizations based on various targeting methods.
  • Monitor new search or social trends and evaluate their application to clients.
  • Drive paid social strategy and tactics to meet client goals.
  • Attend internal and client meetings, communicating complex topics concisely.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Manage quarterly priorities and ad-hoc requests to ensure timely execution.
  • Own relationships with agency partners for respective clients.
  • Share learnings and best practices across the organization.
  • Identify ways to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Paid Social Media Marketing with hands-on platform campaign management experience.
  • Experience in negotiating and constructing Social Media plans.
  • Experience buying ads on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
  • Familiarity with paid social ad-buying platforms and CRM data platforms.
  • Understanding of advanced analytics and performance media.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking, networking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with social media management and social listening tools.
  • Knowledge of third-party ad-servers.
