About the position

At Publicis Collective, the Manager, Paid Social plays a crucial role in the day-to-day management of paid social and paid search media for assigned brands. This position is responsible for leading the development, activation, and innovation of campaigns, ensuring that they align with the clients' goals. The Manager is expected to leverage their expertise in social and search media to deliver effective strategies that drive growth and return on investment (ROI). Working closely with the Associate Director, the Manager will communicate all strategic initiatives while taking ownership of tactical execution. In this role, the Manager will contribute to account strategy, which includes annual budget development, setting key performance indicators (KPIs), selecting partners, exploring new tactics, and tracking industry developments. They will gather necessary research and data to formulate tactical plans and recommendations for client delivery. The Manager will also lead client relationships, serving as the primary day-to-day contact and ensuring seamless communication with partner agencies when applicable. Additionally, the Manager will provide direction to Analysts, guiding them in conducting research to build new campaigns. They will oversee the quality assurance and trafficking of approved plans into social and search platforms, maintaining oversight of budget and billing activities, including pacing, Prisma management, draft billing, and ensuring the accuracy of budgets against strategy flowcharts. The Manager will also oversee the Analysts' management of campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments, while developing and recommending optimizations and testing plans. Furthermore, they will pull data and research components needed for new business pitches and contribute to the development of agency-level points of view (POVs) on industry happenings, customizing these POVs for individual clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of paid social and paid search media for assigned brands.

  • Gather research and data for tactical plan development and client delivery recommendations.
  • Manage client relationships as the primary day-to-day contact and ensure seamless communication with partner agencies.
  • Provide direction to Analysts for campaign research and development.
  • Oversee the quality assurance and trafficking of approved plans into social and search platforms.
  • Maintain oversight of budget and billing activities, including pacing and accuracy of budgets.
  • Oversee Analysts' management of campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments.
  • Develop and recommend optimizations and testing plans for campaigns.
  • Pull data and research components for new business pitches and agency-level POVs on industry developments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of paid social or paid search experience.
  • Experience in both paid social and paid search channels is highly preferred.
  • Mastery of social or search platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in core Microsoft Excel functions, including vlookup and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work successfully with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proven leadership ability with a collaborative approach.
