About the position

As a Part-Time Manager/3rd Key Holder at Claire's, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of other management, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• Open and close the store in the absence of other management, ensuring safe and legal operations.
• Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service.
• Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
• Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Perform ear piercing (full training provided).
• Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to customers.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools.
