About the position

The Senior Partner Marketing Manager at Walmart Marketplace is responsible for leading the channel partner marketing strategy and execution as part of integrated marketing campaigns. This role focuses on driving marketing campaigns with solution provider partners to promote Walmart Marketplace to potential sellers, attract new leads, and generate brand awareness. The position requires collaboration with various teams and partners to create effective marketing strategies and campaigns that align with Walmart's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and collaborate with a network of solutions and technology partners on strategic co-marketing initiatives.
  • Enable channel partners to attract new sellers and brands to Walmart Marketplace.
  • Spearhead the strategy, planning, and execution of the strategic partner GTM Playbook and content distribution.
  • Craft messages and content for partner audiences through various marketing channels.
  • Manage and allocate partner marketing media budget to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Create monthly and yearly co-marketing campaign calendars and work-back schedules.
  • Establish clear GTM strategies, playbooks, SOPs, and checklists for working with solution providers.
  • Collaborate with various teams to establish SOPs, approval timelines, and reporting cadences.
  • Define and measure KPIs and forecasts, delivering against channel goals and partner objectives.
  • Communicate performance metrics and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Participate in joint business planning meetings with the Channel Partner team.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and creative teams on marketing collateral and event executions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant partner marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a Creative discipline.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing programs.
  • Project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills and demonstrated use of data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Experience managing external partners.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with consumer GTM strategies based on consumer-driven insights.
  • Experience with consumer-facing product launches and campaigns.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience in the internet or technology industry.
  • Copywriting experience.
