About the position
The Manager of Patient Financial Services at Carson Tahoe Health is responsible for overseeing the management of the system's accounts receivable to ensure optimal reimbursement for services rendered. Responsibilities
- Manage the system's accounts receivable to optimize reimbursement in a compliant manner.
- Oversee billing and follow-up processes.
- Lead the denials unit and PFS customer service call center.
- Manage cash flow and revenue integrity initiatives.
- Maintain payer contract systems and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in healthcare leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or ten years of experience in an acute healthcare environment.
Nice-to-haves
- CHFP, CRCR, or other HFMA certification
