About the position

The Manager of People Operations will oversee the daily operations of the People & Performance department, focusing on compliance, employee data management, and process optimization to enhance the employee experience. This role involves leading key HR projects and ensuring seamless operations across various HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee HRIS processes related to employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee the ServiceNow service ticketing system, responding to or assigning employee inquiries and tracking service metrics.
  • Maintain the accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems and ensure timely preparation of compliance reports.
  • Lead process mapping and improvements across P&P functions to enhance HR operations and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage the tactical onboarding process and optimize the onboarding and offboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, IT, Legal, and other departments for accurate employee data management.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
  • Oversee HR Operations' involvement in larger People & Performance projects, managing timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in HR operations, with 2 years in a management role.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or high-tech environments is a plus.
  • Proficient in HR systems, particularly Workday, and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR compliance, project management, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.

  • Familiarity with HR compliance training and employee relations initiatives.
