About the position

The Manager, People Operations will lead the HR and people operations team, focusing on creating a cohesive and positive employee experience for the company's international workforce. This role involves strategic partnership with leadership to align talent strategies with organizational needs, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and overseeing HR processes and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Fosters a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's core values.
  • Partners with leadership to understand and execute the organization's talent strategy.
  • Provides support and guidance to People Generalists and management on complex HR issues.
  • Monitors workload distribution and performance of the People Generalists.
  • Provides operational reports to leadership for strategic analysis.
  • Ensures smooth functioning of routine HR processes such as employee data management and compliance reporting.
  • Executes HR policies and procedures developed by leadership.
  • Oversees the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and best practices in human resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource supervisory experience is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (ADP) and talent management systems (Workable).
