About the position

The Manager, People Operations at Nexamp will lead a team of HR professionals to ensure efficient execution of People practices, focusing on compensation, benefits, payroll, compliance, and immigration. This role emphasizes leveraging analytical skills to manage employee life cycle data and develop comprehensive People analytics dashboards to provide actionable insights for leadership. The position requires a strong background in HR operations and aims to refine compensation practices to support headcount planning strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the People analytics function, creating a framework for monitoring HR metrics and trends.
  • Assess current systems and tools, recommending improvements to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards for senior leadership to provide visibility into workforce trends and performance.
  • Use data to recommend and drive solutions that improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Lead efforts to align compensation practices with headcount planning, focusing on consistency and future growth.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits and payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize and automate core HR functions, focusing on process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to the HR team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in HR operations, with specific focus on compensation and analytics.
  • 1+ years leading a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building and implementing People analytics functions and developing metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and compensation structures.
  • Familiarity with benefits and payroll processes.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data visualization tools preferred.
