About the position

The Manager for Performance Analytics is responsible for providing performance analytics and reporting to the General Bank leadership. This remote role focuses on developing scorecards, financial analytics, and models to measure sales and operational performance, ultimately driving improved performance and supporting variable compensation and employee reward programs. The position involves close collaboration with leadership and business owners to aid in coaching and performance tracking, as well as providing expert analytical guidance to meet the Bank's financial growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the development and implementation of sales and operational scorecard development, analytics, and reporting across multiple Bank functions.
  • Provides analytics for use in variable compensation and employee reward programs, facilitating compensation with meaningful impact to drive results.
  • Partners with internal support teams to design, develop, and deliver dashboard reporting for all levels of management to better understand current sales and operational performance.
  • Oversees the development of predictive forecasting analysis including the ability to track performance against goals.
  • Develops metrics that can model future trends and presents data insights, analysis, and guidance to quantify sales results and return on investment.
  • Monitors performance against expectations to provide recommendations for performance strategy modifications.
  • Consults with executive leadership to aid in the development of Bank strategy through the use of data.
  • Works with management to incorporate input into the overall strategic planning process.
  • Provides training and education to support teams on sales reporting processes.
  • Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals.
  • Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives.
  • Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Statistical Analytics or Information Technology in the Financial Services industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Statistical Analytics or Information Technology in the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in creating simple to complex reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Cognos, Financial Balance Sheets, Business Intelligence tools.
  • Data Analysis or Predictive Analytics Certification.
  • Knowledge of Analytics Software Tools (Excel, Access, Tableau, Cognos).
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling concepts such as decision trees, neural networks, regression analysis, lift charts, and ROI.

Nice-to-haves

  • LFI experience in finance and strategy, preferred in retail, consumer, and small business banking.
